To further promote the Chief Engineer Culture of Educating People, foster patriotism among teachers and students, and inherit and carry forward the glorious traditions and fine conduct of the Party, the School of Management organized more than 40 teachers and students to visit and exchange ideas at the China Flight Test Establishment (CFTE) on April 18. Zhang Shuang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School, Wang Haixiao, Deputy Secretary, as well as young teachers and student representatives participated in the event.
Yin Jianfeng, Deputy Chief Engineer of CFTE and an alumnus of the School of Management from the Class of 1990, warmly received the visiting teachers and students and personally led them on a tour of landmark venues including the CFTE History Exhibition Hall, the Flight Test Culture Exhibition Hall, and the Meritorious Aircraft Park. At the CFTE History Exhibition Hall and the Flight Test Culture Exhibition Hall, the visitors gained a comprehensive and in-depth understanding of CFTE's development history, brilliant achievements, spiritual lineage and future prospects, and felt the dedication of several generations of flight testers to serving the country through aviation and their pioneering spirit in pursuing dreams in the blue sky. At the Meritorious Aircraft Park, they visited up close a number of meritorious aircraft that have witnessed the glorious achievements of China's aviation industry, such as the CJ-6, H-6, J-7, J-8, Flying Leopard, J-10, J-11 and KJ-2000. They listened to stories of overcoming hardships and making technological breakthroughs during the test flights of these aircraft, and experienced the historic leap of China's aviation industry and flight test cause from scratch, from small to large, and from weak to strong.


For a long time, the School has always based itself on the major strategic needs of the country, adhered to the guidance of the "Chief Engineer Culture of Educating People" in its talent cultivation work, and continuously improved the quality of talent training. The number of graduates employed in defense and military enterprises has been increasing year by year. Yin Jianfeng stated that as one of the first batch of students admitted to the School, he has been paying attention to the development of the university and the School since his graduation. He looked forward to more exchange opportunities, and at the same time felt proud of the achievements made by his alma mater in recent years. He hoped that all undertakings of the alma mater would thrive and cultivate more outstanding talents for the motherland's aviation industry.
Experiencing through walking, learning through visiting, perceiving through practice, and elevating through exploration, this visit and exchange activity allowed everyone to fully understand the development history of China's aviation flight test cause and deeply feel the original aspiration of generations of aviation science and technology workers to serve the country firmly. All participants said that in the future, they will continue to delve deeper into their professional fields, improve their professional quality, and contribute their strength to promoting the construction of the university's "Double First-Class" initiative, realizing the "127" development goals, and supporting the construction of a strong country and the great rejuvenation of the nation.
