On the morning of November 23, more than 50 teachers and students from the School of Management visited the China Academy of Aerospace Propulsion Technology (the Fourth Academy of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation Limited) for study and exchange. Wang Su'an, Deputy Director of the Dongfeng Learning Center of the Fourth Academy of Aerospace, and other leaders warmly received the teachers and students and organized the visit. Wang Zhaoxu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, counselors Yuan Yuan and Li Hengyu, and student affairs secretaries Zhang Mengyu and Gong Xue participated in the event.
The students first visited the Exhibition Hall of the Fourth Academy of Aerospace, a distinctive patriotic aerospace education base built by the academy. Through the three chapters of the exhibition—"Past, Present and Future"—they gained a comprehensive understanding of the academy's entrepreneurial journey, corporate image, comprehensive strength and development achievements. The students said they deeply felt the aerospace spirit of Chinese aerospace workers: pursuing dreams, daring to explore, collaborating to tackle tough challenges, pursuing win-win cooperation, and striving to surpass. As young people in the new era, they emphasized the need to learn from the aerospace pioneers, inherit their spirit and moral character, continuously improve their abilities, and enhance their knowledge and skills through persistent learning.
Subsequently, the group visited Xi'an Aerospace Propulsion Machinery Co., Ltd. (Factory 7414) and Xi'an Aerospace Propulsion Test and Control Technology Research Institute (Institute 401). Wang Jianfeng, Secretary of the Party Branch of Xi'an Aerospace New Energy Equipment Technology Co., Ltd. (a subsidiary of Factory 7414), and Wang Junjing, Director of the Human Resources Department of Institute 401, warmly received and accompanied the visit. The students learned about the research, development and production of metal shells and nozzle metal parts for solid rocket motors, as well as the testing of solid rocket motors, the development of special instruments and meters, and the processing of precision structural parts. They noted that every breakthrough in the aerospace field epitomizes China's scientific and technological progress, and marveled at the rapid development of China's aerospace industry. This development not only drives humanity to explore the universe, broaden horizons and realize dreams better, but also brings numerous benefits in technology, energy and industry, making aerospace an important force leading scientific and technological innovation and social development.
This visit received strong support from Chen Leisheng, an outstanding alumnus of the School of Management and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fourth Academy of Aerospace. It further deepened the exchange and cooperation between the school and enterprises, enabled a clearer understanding of enterprises' talent demands, and laid a solid foundation for building a high-quality employment platform for graduates. At the same time, it strengthened the connection between the school and its alumni.
