School of Management and Jining City Discussed University-Local and University-Enterprise Talent Cooperation

On the afternoon of March 27, the University-Local-Enterprise Talent Cooperation Symposium themed "Respecting and Employing Talents · Vitalizing Zou City with Talents" was successfully held between the School of Management, Northwestern Polytechnical University and Jining City, Shandong Province.

Wang Zhuhua, Deputy Director of Jining Public Employment and Talent Service Center, Chang Chao, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of Zoucheng People’s Congress, together with representatives of relevant departments and enterprises, Wang Haixiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, as well as teachers and student representatives attended the meeting. In-depth exchanges were conducted on topics including student employment and industry-education integration. The meeting was presided over by Zhang Lin, postgraduate counselor of the School of Management.

During the meeting, all participants watched the promotional videos of the School of Management and Jining City, gaining a direct understanding of the resource advantages of both sides. Bai Jie, Employment Supervisor of the School of Management, systematically introduced the talent training system of the school from the dimensions of student scale, disciplinary layout, and employment performance. Wang Zhuhua and Chang Chao respectively introduced the industrial development and talent policies of Jining City and Zoucheng City, emphasized the development concept of "gathering talents with industries and vitalizing industries with talents", and expressed the urgent demand for high-end talents. Shan Chaochao from Shandong Hengxin Group put forward the enterprise’s demand for interdisciplinary talents based on corporate strategy, hoping to establish a closer relationship with the school, jointly build a platform for student internship and employment, and realize the precise matching of university-enterprise resources.

In the exchange session, student representatives actively raised questions focusing on career development paths, post competency requirements, and the construction of practical platforms. Government and enterprise representatives responded one by one, patiently answering from the perspectives of policy support, enterprise growth channels, and skills training. The on-site interaction was frequent and the atmosphere was warm, demonstrating the practical value of university-local-enterprise collaborative education.

The successful holding of this University-Local-Enterprise Talent Cooperation and Employment Symposium has not only built a bridge for efficient communication and practical cooperation between the School of Management, Northwestern Polytechnical University and Jining City, Zoucheng City and relevant enterprises, but also laid a foundation for deepening talent training, promoting high-quality employment, and driving innovation and entrepreneurship.

In the future, all parties from the university, local government and enterprises will further deepen cooperation, give full play to their respective advantages, and support the high-quality development of the regional economy and high-quality employment of graduates.
