The course leader hold concurrent posts as a member of the Aviation Vocational Education Committee(AVEC), Vice Chairman of the Project Management Research Committee, China (PMRC), President of the Shaanxi Project Management Association, member of Standing Committee of the Engineering Project Management Committee of the China Construction Industry Association, and Deputy Director of the System Engineering and Project Management Committee of the China Aerospace Society.

The course team teaches more than 20 undergraduate "Project Management" courses every year, and the courses have been rated as provincial quality courses, provincial quality resource sharing courses, provincial quality video courses, the first batch of national first-class undergraduate courses (online), and a blended online and offline first-class course by the university.

The course leader has edited nearly 20 textbooks, including the National Eleventh Five-Year Plan and Twelfth Five-Year Plan textbooks "Project Management Case Tutorial" and the Ministry of Education's original philosophy and social science textbook "Chinese Characteristics Project Management Cases", with a circulation of over 500000 copies.

3、 Course Overview

1. Course objectives

Project Management "is a" Management and Leadership "course aimed at undergraduate students across the university, adhering to the teaching philosophy of" value guidance, knowledge integration, practical exploration, and ability enhancement ". The course objective is to cultivate students' comprehensive application ability of project management theory, methods, and tools. Specifically, it includes:

1) Knowledge level: Understand and master the basic knowledge system of modern project management, deeply understand the interrelationships between project management and other professions, and form a clear understanding of key issues in project management applications.

2) Ability level: Recognizing that project management is a methodology for systematic work, effectively enhancing students' systematic thinking and work abilities, and mastering the ability to achieve task goals through scientific planning and control under given constraints such as time, resources, and costs.

3) On the level of quality: Starting from a systemic perspective, forming a broad pattern and vision for problem-solving, possessing patriotism and a global perspective, and achieving the comprehensive goal of "cultivating morality, nurturing people, seeking knowledge, realizing truth, and practicing".

2. Curriculum construction status

Our school is the initiator of the China Project Management Research Committee (PMRC) and a major promoter of the development of project management discipline in China. Project management has been a core course in engineering management for first-class undergraduate majors in China since 2000, and it is also an elective "Management and Leadership" course for the entire university. More than 30 project management courses are offered to undergraduate students each year. The course has been successively rated as a provincial quality course, a provincial quality resource sharing course, a provincial quality video course, a national first-class undergraduate course (online), and a high-level course for graduate students. Online is the course with the highest number of course selections among similar courses on the Chinese University MOOC website, and it is also the second ranked course in terms of student course selection willingness in our university.

The course has formed a blended, integrated, and interrelated teaching innovation model through the reform of online and offline blended teaching. A team based online project management MOOC is designed to provide systematic knowledge learning and assessment. The online course consists of 36 lectures, focusing on the systematic learning of theoretical knowledge and management methods, and strengthening the assessment of the effectiveness of theoretical knowledge learning. The "three degree integration" first-class empowerment platform based on team created exercises, competitions, and certifications offline enhances students' innovation and practical abilities in project management (as shown in Figure 1).

3. Course teaching and application effectiveness

Online MOOCs are the first batch of national first-class undergraduate courses (online), with a total of over 100000 students enrolled in online courses, covering 100 universities. SPOC users include 79 universities such as Harbin Institute of Technology and Shandong University; Edited over 10 textbooks and won one second prize for excellent textbooks in Shaanxi Province. The textbook has a circulation of over 500000 copies and has been adopted by more than 100 universities including Zhejiang University, Sichuan University, Wuhan University, etc; Multiple case studies collected and written have been included in the China Case Sharing Center as well as among the top 100 cases; Guide students to participate in the "National College Project Management Case Competition" and rank first in the country in terms of award level and quantity for 8 consecutive years.
