Technical economics is an interdisciplinary field that gradually forms and rapidly develops based on the needs of modern engineering technology and socio-economic development, through the mutual infiltration and promotion of natural and social sciences. The course of Technical Economics aims to analyze and evaluate engineering projects and technical solutions from an economic perspective, avoid investment risks, improve technical, economic, and social benefits, and provide scientific basis for investment decisions. The curriculum team is based on the requirements of the school's "chief teacher type" talent cultivation, and faces the needs of major and complex national projects. Through the integration of science and education and the integration of industry and education, the curriculum content is continuously optimized, and teaching methods are continuously reformed and explored.
