I. Exam paper
1. The test paper adopts the unified format specified by the school for question setting. The examination subjects, academic year, semester, and examination time, as well as the identification of A and B papers, are complete and clear.
2. The content, quantity, and difficulty of the test questions should comply with the requirements of the course syllabus.
3. The test paper should include Paper A, Paper B, and the corresponding answers, along with the scoring criteria. The teacher who sets the questions should carefully proofread the test questions to ensure there are no errors.
4. Examination papers (A, B) and scoring criteria must be approved level by level in accordance with the examination paper approval form issued by the school's academic affairs office.
5. The meaning of the test questions should be clearly expressed and accurately narrated, so as to avoid different interpretations.
6. The score for each major and minor question should be clearly marked, so that students can understand the scoring situation.
7. The examination paper should clearly state whether to answer questions on the examination paper itself or on a separate answer sheet.
8. The scores assigned to each sub-question within the multiple-choice question section should be equal to facilitate scoring.
9. The total score of the test paper should be 100 points for the convenience of score statistics and analysis.
10. The examination method of large-scale assignments also requires the provision of scoring criteria.
II. Marking:
1. Carefully and conscientiously judge the test paper according to the scoring criteria impartially.
2. For each major and minor question, use symbols to indicate whether it is correct or incorrect, and provide the scoring criteria.
3. The score obtained for each small question and large question should be marked.
4. Both the method of giving points or deducting points can be used for scoring, but the scoring should be consistent for the same subject. If the method of deducting points is adopted, a check mark should be marked for all correct answers; if the method of giving points is adopted, an error mark should be marked for all incorrect answers.
5. It is required to use a red pen for grading, so as to distinguish it from the students' handwriting.
6. Carefully accumulate the total score and ensure no errors are made. After review, enter the total score in the exam score column.
7. Keep the examination paper clean and tidy. Do not calculate scores or make alterations on the paper.
8. After scoring the examination papers, no significant or widespread adjustments to the scores shall be made. If there are indeed sufficient reasons for making changes, it must be reported to the relevant department or faculty for discussion.
When identical answers are found on exam papers, it should generally be brought up by the teacher and studied by the department or faculty.
After grading the exam papers, the exam questions and answer sheets must be promptly and completely submitted to the undergraduate teaching office of the college for archiving, including:
(1) The class student score registration form must be filled out by the teacher himself/herself. The scores on the score sheet should match the scores on the exam papers, and the scores should be segmented and the average score should be calculated. The teacher should sign the form.
(2) Examination questions, standard answers, and scoring criteria for Examination Papers A and B.
(3) Course teaching archives.
(4) Teaching calendar.
(5) The test questions and answer sheets for each student should be bound together and neatly arranged by class, in the order of the student's student ID number as listed on the transcript
