On the evening of January 1, 2026, the New Year Welcome Party for the 2025 cohort of professional degree postgraduates of the School of Management was grandly held in the Golden Hall. Kicking off against the striking backdrop of Hello, 2026, the party opened with the welcome dance APT. The dynamic and rhythmic choreography, brimming with youthful vitality and powerful movements, quickly fired up the atmosphere of the whole venue. This was followed by the screening of New Year greeting videos from each class, where the warm footage embodied the students' sincere wishes for the university and the college, as well as their beautiful expectations for the future.

Leadership Address: Mapping Out a New Blueprint for Development

First of all, Zhang Shuang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management at Northwestern Polytechnical University, delivered a speech at the welcome party. She extended sincere New Year wishes to all freshmen and briefly reviewed the leapfrog development of the college during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. She pointed out that over the past five years, the college has achieved fruitful results in discipline development, talent cultivation, scientific research and innovation, social services and international cooperation, with the brand influence of professional degree education being continuously highlighted in particular. Following the speech, the award ceremony for the Freshman Admission Scholarship and the appointment ceremony for the professional degree Student Recruitment Ambassadors were held. These events aim to encourage students to strive for continuous academic progress, actively promote the college's brand, and take on their missions to contribute their strength.

The party featured a dazzling array of performances that fully demonstrated the humanistic accomplishment and innovative spirit of the students of the School of Management. The Shayou Choir presented a Song Medley that recreated the spirit of unity and perseverance of the Desert Challenge; the rap Kirin interpreted cultural confidence through forceful and cadenced rhythms; the dance The Spring Breeze of Reform Blows Everywhere awakened the memories of the times with lively steps; the band performance New Boy played the movement of youth with the interweaving of drum kit and guitar; the classical dances Remote Acacia and The Common People combined grace and strength, connecting the feelings of ancient and modern times; the guitar singing Tenderness depicted the delicate thoughts of youth; the chorus Dragon Scales Under Heaven and Earth expressed the lofty passion for striving with magnificent melodies; the Xinjiang dance Young Lad ignited the audience's enthusiasm with exotic styles; the situational play NWPUers Fighting vividly interpreted the educational practice of Practicality, Truth-seeking, Solidarity and Innovation; the recitation China Under the Moonlight expressed the profound affection for the motherland; the Greater Bay Area song medley showcased the charisma of the Greater Bay Area with diverse musical styles; the Chinese-style jazz Moonlight in the City integrated classical artistic conception into modern rhythms, outlining the unique charm of the combination of Chinese and Western cultures; the solo Free as the Wind interpreted the life attitude of being as free as the wind; the chorus My Great China paid tribute to the motherland with singing; the jazz dance Black Veil Bride released youthful energy with stunning and skillful steps. Interactive Carnival: Fun Experiences Empowered by Games

Several rounds of lucky draws and interactive games were interspersed throughout the party, which was also supported by sponsorships from a number of enterprises and individuals. Interactive games such as Crazy Banknote Counting and Fruit Ninja Challenge realized real-time interaction and ranking through a digital platform. The participants took an active part in the games, making the venue filled with an exuberant and joyful atmosphere.
