From November 18 to 19, the 2025 AACSB Asia Pacific Elevate Summit, hosted by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), was held in Hong Kong. On behalf of the School of Management, Professor Che Ada, Dean of the School, Associate Professor Shao Jing, Director of the International Accreditation Office, and Ma Xiaoke, International Accreditation Specialist, attended the summit by invitation.

Centered on the core themes of "Digital Transformation, Global Collaboration, and Curriculum Innovation", this year’s Elevate Summit focused on the systemic changes brought by artificial intelligence to business education, with discussions revolving around Asia Pacific regional collaboration, AI-driven reforms in business education, the practice of AACSB accreditation standards, and the social impact of business schools. The agenda was closely aligned with the reshaping of education in the AI era, featuring thematic seminar sessions such as the interpretation of accreditation standards and continuous improvement strategies. The summit brought together more than 300 delegates and exhibitors from 22 countries and regions across the Asia Pacific and other parts of the world, building a robust platform for knowledge sharing and strategic planning among business schools in the Asia Pacific region.

During the summit, Dean Che Ada and Associate Professor Shao Jing, drawing on their own teaching experience and insights from participating in AACSB accreditation, conducted in-depth discussions on curriculum design, talent development and research exploration with representatives from business schools and schools of management of Tongji University, Hohai University, Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Shandong University, Xi'an Jiaotong University and other institutions. They also had a full exchange of views on the on-site visit experience of various universities under the AACSB accreditation standards.

Throughout their participation, the delegation engaged in in-depth exchanges with global leaders in business education, including Lily Bi, Chair of AACSB, and Dr. Geoff Perry, Executive Vice President and Chief Membership Officer, and had a thorough exchange of opinions on the new framework for higher education quality assurance over the next five years. Through this summit, the delegation from the School of Management gained an in-depth understanding of the cutting-edge trends in business education in the AI era, and acquired brand-new perspectives and methods from universities in the Asia Pacific region regarding AI industry applications, regional development trends, enhancing research impact, and transforming business education through VR and AI-driven immersive learning models.

Taking the AACSB accreditation as an opportunity, the School of Management continues to further advance the empowerment of education and teaching by artificial intelligence, and promote the internationalization of the School and the upgrading of smart education scenarios. The School is deepening its institutional strategy in alignment with the nine AACSB accreditation standards, innovating educational models, strengthening international collaboration and digital transformation, and continuously elevating its educational quality and global influence.
