On May 29th and 30th, Professor Guangming Cao from Ajman University in the UAE was invited to the School of Management to deliver two academic lectures themed "Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence and Academic Paper Writing". The lectures were chaired by Professor Qingfeng Tian and attracted a large number of teachers and students from related disciplines. This event marked the 7th session of the 2025 Overseas Lecture Series hosted by the School of Management.
On the morning of May 29th, Professor Cao gave a lecture titled "Trustworthy AI: The Role of Transparency, Explainability, and Ethics in AI Adoption and Organizational Decision-Making". Based on trust theory, he constructed a research model and revealed the influence mechanism of trustworthy AI elements on AI adoption outcomes through empirical analysis of survey data from 300 enterprise managers in the UK. The following day, Professor Cao delivered a methodological sharing session titled "Tips for Writing a Research Paper for Publication". Drawing on his experience of publishing in top international journals, he systematically analyzed the core structure of academic papers, covering abstract refinement, introduction construction, literature review logic, hypothesis development, and discussion sections.

During the interactive Q&A session, Professor Cao engaged in in-depth exchanges with the audience on issues such as AI ethical governance and academic paper writing logic. The lectures concluded successfully.

Guangming Cao holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and PhD. He is currently a Professor of Data Analytics and Director of the Digital Transformation Research Center at Ajman University, UAE. He has teaching experience in the UK, China, and the UAE. His research focuses on how information and communication technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, business analytics, and social media influence organizational decision-making, capabilities, and performance.
He has published numerous academic papers in prestigious journals including: European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Operations & Production Management, Information & Management, Journal of Business Research, Technovation, Industrial Marketing Management (IMM), IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Information Technology & People, International Journal of Management Review, and Supply Chain Management.
