To expand the practical education platform, foster strong patriotism and dedication to national defense, and align the training of management talents with the development needs of key national military industries, on July 4, 2025, Wang Haixiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, and Bai Jie, Employment Supervisor, led 19 graduate students from the practical team "Tracing the Spirit of National Defense Industry, Forging the Path of Chief Engineer" to visit and exchange views with AVIC Jinhang Digital Co., Ltd.

Zheng Shuangcheng, alumnus of Northwestern Polytechnical University, Deputy Chief Engineer and Director of Customer Service Business Department of Jinhang Digital, Gao Haiwei, Director of Human Resources Department / Party Committee Organization Department, Sun Dianwen, Deputy Director, Xue Ping, Deputy Director of Customer Service Business Department, and other alumni representatives warmly received the teachers and students.
On behalf of Jinhang Digital, Gao Haiwei welcomed the visiting group and gave a detailed introduction to the company’s development history, core business layout, and scientific and technological achievements in the digital transformation of the aviation industry in recent years. Bei Bocen, Leader of the Human Resources Basic Group of the Human Resources Department, focused on the company’s recruitment plans and talent demand for various majors in the School of Management from the perspectives of post setting, recruitment requirements, and career development paths, and elaborated on the specific requirements for management talents.
During the interactive session, students actively raised questions on topics including the role of national defense and patriotism culture in employee growth, the function of management majors in enterprises, key assessment points in the recruitment process, mindset adjustment from student to professional, and targeted improvement of professional capabilities at university. Alumni representatives and department heads gave detailed answers one by one, encouraging students to stay grounded, consolidate their foundations, accumulate experience in practical work, improve professional skills, and gradually grow into "chief engineer-oriented" talents step by step.
Finally, the practical team conducted a special interview with Li Peishan, an alumna of Northwestern Polytechnical University. Li Peishan shared her original intention of joining Jinhang Digital and the content of her current position. Based on her own experience, she offered career advice: maintain a rational attitude toward job hunting, avoid the extreme mindset of "better none than inferior", and choose a platform matching personal career plans based on one’s strengths; meanwhile, establish the concept of lifelong learning, constantly acquire new knowledge and improve new capabilities at work to meet the rapid development of the industry.

This visit is an important practice for the School of Management to lead talent training with the "Chief Engineer Education Culture". By building a bridge between national defense enterprises and students, it enables students to understand the characteristics of "chief engineer-oriented" talents—profound expertise, systematic thinking, emphasis on practice, and strong responsibility—in real military management scenarios.
The School of Management will continue to expand cooperation with key national defense institutions, encourage more students to realize their professional value in the field of national defense science and technology, and inject new momentum into the development of national defense with management wisdom.
