Decoding SI‑TECH: The Cross‑border Code from Digital Core to Industrial Innovation
The team first visited the exhibition hall on the ground floor of SI‑TECH. Guided by the intelligent robot “Xiao Si”, the students systematically learned about the company’s development history and core businesses.
From the dynamic operation of the “Jiusi Zhirong” large model platform, to the sophisticated construction of smart city architecture, and to the innovative application of data elements, SI‑TECH’s technological breakthroughs in cloud computing, big data, and the Internet of Everything are remarkable.

Joining Hands for a New Journey: Unveiling the Employment and Education Program to Anchor Talent Development
Witnessed by teachers, students and corporate executives, the “Employment and Education Program of Northwestern Polytechnical University & SI‑TECH” was officially inaugurated.
Sun Hao, Rotating CEO of SI‑TECH, noted that as a “Cradle of Chief Engineers”, NPU cultivates talents with both technical depth and strong patriotism, which highly matches the corporate culture. He expressed hope that the cooperation would help more students become interdisciplinary talents who “master coding and understand national needs”.
Wang Haixiao, Deputy Secretary of the School of Management, emphasized that the program serves as a key link connecting university education with industrial demands, injecting practical vitality into the cultivation of “chief engineer‑oriented talents”.

Dialogue and Original Aspiration: Career Insights and Alumni Affection Draw a Blueprint for Growth
After the unveiling ceremony, Sun Hao, Rao Yan, Wang Haixiao and Bai Jie held a special seminar in a parallel venue to discuss the detailed implementation of the employment and education program.
In the main venue, Peng Fan, General Manager of SI‑TECH Beijing Unicom Branch, and Zhou Weihua, outstanding NPU alumnus and Principal Engineer, held a discussion with the team.
Peng Fan shared valuable career experience based on his own growth path and the company’s cultural core of “Three Values”. He encouraged students:
“In the current era, you should not only strengthen systematic thinking but also proactively adjust your knowledge and capability structure. Use invisible ‘soft power’ to open up your career development path.”
Zhou Weihua, as a senior alumnus, focused his sharing on “skill upgrading” and “thinking transformation”.

The students actively asked questions about interdisciplinary training and understanding of cutting‑edge technologies. Learning that SI‑TECH deeply participates in the telecommunications industry through on‑site services to closely align technical standards with national needs, the students deeply realized that every line of code here not only serves the efficient operation of the digital world but also underpins national economy and people’s livelihood.
The chief engineer spirit of “Forging Weapons for the Country” has gained new vitality in the digital era through such inheritance.

This activity is not only a solid practice of university‑enterprise collaborative education and enterprise visit for job expansion, but also an in-depth integration of digital technology and the chief engineer spirit.
It guided more students to accurately anchor their life goals with national development, forge ahead with the commitment that “I must contribute to success” and the pride of “forging tools for the country”, and grow into outstanding chief engineer‑oriented talents who shoulder the mission of national rejuvenation as soon as possible.
