To accurately grasp the new situation and requirements of employment work, implement the college’s key employment tasks and core indicators for 2025, build a high-quality employment service system, and promote the high-quality development of graduate employment, the School of Management held an employment work seminar on March 10.
Present at the meeting were Nayili, undergraduate counselor, Zhang Lin, postgraduate counselor, Guan Linfei and Huang Xi, part-time counselors, as well as student assistants and representatives from the Postgraduate Association and the Student Union. The meeting was chaired by Bai Jie, the college’s employment supervisor.
At the meeting, all participants studied the college’s 2025 key employment work and core indicators. Combining the new situation and requirements of employment, discussions and exchanges were held on improving students’ employment competitiveness, deepening university-enterprise cooperation to expand employment channels, and guiding more graduates to seek employment in key industries and regions.

Nayili proposed that efforts should be made in both career planning and employment guidance: accurately grasp students’ employment intentions through in-depth communication and help them clarify career goals; provide targeted guidance based on students’ interests and abilities to improve the rationality of job-seeking decisions; encourage students to actively participate in skills training and practical activities to broaden their employment horizons. Meanwhile, graduates were reminded to base themselves on reality, seize opportunities and make optimal career choices.
Based on survey data, postgraduate counselor Zhang Lin pointed out that postgraduate students have strong demand for “enterprise visits and internships” and “tutoring for civil service and institution recruitment exams”. They generally hope to improve core competencies such as “data analysis”, “professional practice” and “structured interview”. He suggested adopting an “online resource bank + offline workshop” model to break time and space constraints and effectively support students’ employment preparation.
Other participants also put forward opinions and suggestions based on practical work and student needs.
Afterwards, Bai Jie led the teachers and students present to analyze and discuss the ideas, key measures and existing problems of employment work. Specific measures were discussed for common needs such as access to employment information, university-enterprise resource connection, and improvement of interview skills. Focused discussions were held on the upcoming employment experience sharing session and mock job fair, the preparation plans were finalized, and the preparatory work was arranged and deployed.
This meeting further clarified the ideas and measures for the employment of the 2025 graduates, built consensus and boosted confidence.
Next, the college will focus on promoting initiatives including “career planning empowerment”, “enterprise visits and post expansion” and “targeted employment assistance”. It will improve the employment system featuring “full participation, whole-process guidance and all-round services”, so as to provide solid support for high-quality and full employment of graduates.
