To help the 2023 undergraduate students gain a deeper understanding of the disciplines and majors in the School of Management, clarify their future development directions, stimulate interest in professional learning, and fully prepare for major selection, the School of Management organized a sharing session on the evening of April 14. Senior undergraduates were invited to share their professional insights with the 2023 cohort, and all 2023 undergraduates attended the session, which was hosted by counselor Li Hengyu.

At the meeting, Huang Yuanhong (Marketing), Li Tiantian (Information Management and Information System), Pang Jiyuan (Engineering Management), Zhao Yanrong (ACCA) from the 2020 cohort, and Guo Lianqing (Business Administration) from the 2021 cohort shared their own learning experiences. They introduced their understanding of their majors from the perspectives of curriculum, development prospects and employment status, and explained in detail “what to learn”, “how to learn” and “what can be done after graduation”.

Li Hengyu emphasized the importance of professional learning based on the employment and further education statistics of the School of Management in recent years, and gave a detailed introduction to the school’s academic atmosphere construction plan. He encouraged students to develop good study habits, master professional knowledge and skills solidly, and take the initiative in career planning.
This major awareness sharing session helped the 2023 undergraduates gain an in-depth understanding of the basic situation of various majors in the school and provided a useful reference for them to choose majors and plan their academic studies. In the future, the School of Management will continue to take the “Chief Engineer Culture for Talent Cultivation” as the guidance for talent development, carry out continuous professional awareness education, and lay a solid foundation for students to adapt to university studies more quickly and effectively.
