First, Zhang Shuang affectionately reviewed the development history of the School of Management with all graduates, introduced the School’s vision, mission and progress made in recent years, and analyzed the new opportunities and challenges faced by graduates under the new situation by combining the School’s talent cultivation achievements and the employment status of the 2024 master’s graduates.

Then, starting from the university’s development history of integrating three origins and uniting strong strengths, Zhang Shuang extended to the university’s motto, school spirit and educational philosophy. She profoundly elaborated NPU’s mission of "forging national strategic weapons and cultivating national pillars", and explained in detail the "127" development goals and initiatives. She encouraged all graduates to follow the example of their predecessors to "set great aspirations, stand on great stages, join the main battlefields, and accomplish great causes".

Finally, Zhang Shuang put forward earnest expectations and instructions to the students. She hoped that all graduates would establish great aspirations, cultivate great sentiments, master great capabilities, shoulder great responsibilities, and cultivate great virtues, so as to write a brilliant new chapter in life. Zhang Shuang also shared her own life experience and insights. She hoped that after entering a new stage of life, all graduates would neither underestimate themselves nor become conceited; face new jobs and challenges with an attitude of "being modest and polite, neither humble nor arrogant"; cope with future life calmly with the mindset of "not being pleased by external gains, not saddened by personal losses"; strive to practice the life creed of integrating knowledge with practice and become doers who understand theories and do practical work; and learn how to achieve happiness and live a fulfilling and happy life.

In addition, the School prepared carefully customized souvenirs for the graduates about to step into society, including commemorative cups, cultural and creative backpacks, and graduation teddy bears of the School of Management, bringing full warmth and blessings to everyone as they bid farewell to the campus.

With this, the "Last Lesson at NPU" for the 2024 graduates of the School of Management has successfully concluded. It is hoped that all graduates will keep the teachers’ teachings in mind. May all of you uphold your missions, enjoy a smooth journey and a promising future, and remember to come back often!
