At 10:00 a.m. on March 23, Wang Zhaoxu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, led the student affairs team to the School of Physics for an exchange symposium. The symposium focused on discussions on how the student affairs teams of the two schools can improve the postgraduate admission rate and overseas study rate, strengthen discipline construction, and foster a positive academic atmosphere.

Wang Zhouhang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Physics, first emphasized the importance of increasing the postgraduate admission rate and overseas study rate. He pointed out that to achieve this goal, measures such as actively promoting international education, improving students’ foreign language proficiency, and expanding overseas study opportunities should be taken. Meanwhile, he also proposed to enhance the postgraduate admission rate and overseas study rate by optimizing teaching quality and strengthening career planning guidance for students.

Wang Zhaoxu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, expressed his appreciation for the practices of the School of Physics and shared the experience of the School of Management in innovation and entrepreneurship, further study and employment, and talent development. He believed that the cultivation of students’ comprehensive quality and ability is crucial, requiring innovations in curriculum design, teaching methods and evaluation systems.

During the exchange, the two sides also held heated discussions on fostering a sound academic atmosphere, strengthening academic exchanges and social practice cooperation. Both sides stated that they would carefully reflect on the outcomes of the exchange, continuously explore and innovate, conduct in-depth cooperation, and jointly contribute to the development of the university.
