To further improve the quality of talent cultivation, strengthen institutional support, and advance the work of "Three-wide Education" and "Ten-in-One Education", the School of Management held a special seminar on student affairs in Conference Room 212 on the afternoon of the 21st.
School leaders, department directors, representatives of faculty Party branch secretaries, head teacher representatives, and all counselors attended the meeting, which was presided over by Wang Zhaoxu, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee.

The meeting consisted of two agendas.
First, Counselor Feng Hua reported on the proposed documents including the
Innovation and Entrepreneurship Climbing Plan of the School of Management, Northwestern Polytechnical University,
2022 Postgraduate Recommendation Plan of the School of Management, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and
Implementation Rules for Undergraduate Student Evaluation of Management Disciplines, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and solicited opinions and suggestions from the participants.
Second, the participants conducted in-depth discussions on talent cultivation and student education management of the School.

During the seminar, all attendees discussed and analyzed the systems to be revised, put forward revision ideas, clarified key points, and conducted in-depth exchanges on these key points.
Finally, Qiao Caiyan, Secretary of the School Party Committee, pointed out that the supplementation and revision of various systems should meet the needs of daily management, reflect the disciplinary characteristics of the School, and better serve students, teaching and research.
She required that the systems should adhere to the principle of fairness and justice, combine positive guidance with reverse incentives, and further enhance students’ enthusiasm for learning and practice.
She stressed that in accordance with the requirements of "simultaneous development of five educations", details should be emphasized to make the systems more executable and give full play to their guiding role.
She also hoped that school leaders, teachers and student affairs staff would strengthen communication and understanding in future work, pool wisdom and draw on strong points to promote the steady development of all work of the School.
Through this seminar, all participants reached a consensus, promoted mutual understanding, and advanced the scientific, standardized and institutionalized management of the School.
