To solidly advance the AACSB international accreditation work and meticulously prepare for the on-site visit, the meeting of the AACSB International Accreditation Advisory Committee of the School of Management, Northwestern Polytechnical University, was successfully held in Meeting Room 308, Youyi Campus, on the afternoon of June 1. Shao Jing, Director of the International Accreditation Office, presided over the meeting. Che Ada, Dean of the School; Zhang Shuang, Party Secretary of the School; Vice Deans Jia Ming and Chen Lin; Li Chenglong, Assistant Dean; Zhai Run, Director of the School Office, and other school leaders attended the meeting. Professor Li Tianxing, a senior AACSB accreditation expert, and Professor Shen Wei from the School of Public Affairs, Zhejiang University, two members of the Advisory Committee, were invited to attend and provide guidance and suggestions for the School's international accreditation work.
At the meeting, the school leaders first gave a detailed introduction to the School's "15th Five-Year Plan" development plan. Centering on core areas such as discipline construction, talent cultivation, faculty team building, research innovation, and international cooperation, they elaborated on the School's development goals, key tasks, and implementation pathways, which clarified the direction and laid the foundation for advancing the AACSB international accreditation work.

The attending experts, Li Tianxing and Shen Wei, focusing on the AACSB on-site visit to be carried out by the School in the second half of this year, put forward systematic and targeted suggestions for preliminary preparation based on accreditation standards and practical experience, covering key aspects such as document organization, process standardization, detail refinement, personnel coordination, and on-site room arrangements. The experts emphasized the need to closely adhere to the core accreditation indicators, refine work in every step, strengthen team collaboration, and prepare various contingency plans in advance. They particularly stressed the importance of conducting mock visits for each symposium segment in the preliminary stage to ensure that all work related to the on-site visit proceeds efficiently and in an orderly manner.
At the end of the meeting, the attendees conducted in-depth exchanges on the key and difficult issues concerning international accreditation, further unifying their thinking and building consensus. The school leaders expressed their sincere gratitude to the two experts for their professional guidance and stated that they would carefully incorporate the opinions and suggestions, refine the division of tasks, and solidly advance all preparatory work with high standards and strict requirements. They also pledged to make every effort to ensure the smooth implementation of the AACSB international accreditation on-site visit, thereby continuously enhancing the School’s international education level and core competitiveness.
