IACBE Accreditation Organization
IACBE stands for the International Accreditation Council for Business Education. Its predecessor was the International Council for the Accreditation of Collegiate Business Education, founded in 1997. IACBE is an international business education accreditation body recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in the United States. Its mission is to enhance the academic quality of business programs through accreditation and encourage educational institutions to establish distinctive educational models that reflect their missions and visions. There are more than 240 accredited member institutions worldwide, including internationally renowned schools such as Paris School of Business in France and Cologne Business School in Germany.
Shaanxi MBA College
To promote the economic and social development of Shaanxi Province and fully leverage the advantageous resources of prestigious universities, Shaanxi College of Business Administration (abbreviated as "Shaanxi MBA College") was established in 1996 with the approval of the People's Government of Shaanxi Province. With the mission of "Cultivating management elites, supporting local economic growth, and driving social progress", the college is dedicated to the education of Master of Business Administration (MBA).
The college is headquartered at Xi'an Jiaotong University, and has set up teaching sites at Xi'an Jiaotong University, Northwest University, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xidian University, Xi'an University of Technology, Northwest A&F University, and Yan'an University. Its educational programs mainly include MBA programs and Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) programs.
Timeline
In 2022, the college obtained accreditation from the IACBE (International Accreditation Council for Business Education). The accreditation runs in a seven-year cycle.
In 2025, the college submitted the Interim Quality Assurance Report.
In 2029, the college will undergo the process to maintain its IACBE accreditation.
