This paper conducts an in-depth study on the effect of green credit policies in guiding the flow of credit capital. The findings indicate that green credit policies exert a financing penalty effect on enterprises in heavily polluting industries and facilitate the optimization of cross-industry credit allocation.

Huang Zhen is an Assistant Professor, Master’s Supervisor, and Visiting Scholar at the University of Manchester, UK. She is also a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (CPA). Her research focuses on green finance, corporate governance and corporate finance. She has published more than 20 academic papers in well-known SSCI and CSSCI journals, including Journal of Corporate Finance, Finance Research Letters, Accounting Research and Journal of Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, and has authored one monograph. In recent years, she has presided over a number of national and provincial-level research projects, such as the Youth Project of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation (General Program, Grade A), the Shaanxi Soft Science Program, and the Shaanxi Provincial Social Science Fund Project. Meanwhile, she has participated as a core member in major projects of the National Social Science Foundation of China and key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China.
