On December 10th, the 34th Qinghe Salon was held in Lecture Hall 214 of the School of Management at the Chang'an Campus. Against the backdrop of the full advancement of the national scientific and technological innovation strategy, this salon focused on the application for major national key projects. It specially invited Professor Che Ada, Dean of the School, Professor Jia Ming, Vice Dean, and Professor Chang Yu, Director of the Department of Marketing, to conduct in-depth exchanges with participating teachers on core topics such as problem-solving ideas and logical framework design for project applications. More than 40 teachers from the school attended the event, which was hosted by Li Chenglong, Assistant to the Dean.

Starting from the national strategic needs, Che Ada emphasized that teachers should carry out innovative research based on the forefront of the industry, and accurately align with practical needs especially in the problem-solving stage. Combining his own application experience, he shared relevant thoughts and insights, and put forward suggestions for teachers on how to accumulate research achievements effectively. Meanwhile, he stated that the school will provide all-round support and incentives for teachers to plan and apply for important scientific research projects.

Chang Yu elaborated on how to refine research topics from the international context and social phenomena, and how to form a solid theoretical foundation for problem-solving based on previous research accumulation. She mentioned that research should be rooted in reality, focus on extracting research results closely linked to economic and social development from research questions, and promote the unity of academic value and social benefits.

Jia Ming expounded on the key differences in application requirements between natural science and social science fund projects from the aspects of target groups, problem-solving paths and achievement output. He pointed out that all research should adhere to the "Four Orientations", seek genuine problems, "refer to both official documents and academic literatures", and effectively serve the national strategy. He encouraged teachers to pursue excellence with internal motivation, conduct in-depth and long-term research based on their own strengths, and strive to achieve the synchronous development of personal academic growth and the national strategy.

The shares of the three distinguished guests, based on the forefront of policies and containing profound theoretical insights, provided specific methodological guidance on the practical aspects of fund project application, offered development suggestions on the academic growth path of teachers, and shared valuable experience with all participating teachers.
