On the morning of October 11th, at the invitation of the School of Management, Professor Zhu Jigao from the University of International Business and Economics delivered an academic lecture titled "The Spillover Effects of Innovation Cost Sharing: Research on the Impact of the R&D Expense Deduction Policy on the Labor Income Share" in the 214 Lecture Hall of the School Building on the Chang'an Campus. The lecture was hosted by Associate Professor Tian Haowen from the School of Management, and was attended by teachers and students from the school.

Based on the data of R&D tax credit deductions for listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share markets from 2014 to 2023, Professor Zhu Jigao conducted an in-depth analysis of the spillover effects of innovation cost sharing from the micro-enterprise perspective, with a focus on how the R&D tax credit policy affects the labor income share of enterprises. His research found that the R&D tax credit policy, by sharing the innovation costs of enterprises, significantly promotes the increase in the labor income share, and this effect is more prominent in non-state-owned enterprises and those with higher technological intensity. He pointed out that this finding provides important theoretical references and practical implications for optimizing the income distribution policy system and promoting the construction of enterprise talent teams in the context of the new round of technological revolution and the development of new quality productivity.
At the end of the lecture, Professor Zhu Jigao engaged in an in-depth exchange with the teachers and students present on research design, policy effects and future research directions. The atmosphere on the spot was very lively.
