[Academic Report] The Academic Report Session by Academician Ma Qingguo from Zhejiang University Was Successfully Held.

On September 24th, at the invitation of the School of Management, Academician Ma Qingguo from Zhejiang University delivered a sharing session titled "My Insights and Experiences in Management Research" in Room 214 of the School of Management. This lecture was hosted by Associate Professor Wang Juan, and it was attended by students and teachers from the School of Management.

At the beginning of the meeting, Associate Professor Wang Juan gave a brief introduction to the research achievements and academic contributions of Academician Ma Qingguo. The teachers and students of the School of Management warmly welcomed Academician Ma Qingguo's arrival.

Academician Ma Qingguo, drawing on his extensive research experience in the field of management, shared four profound insights: the confusion between management theory and practice, the need for power support for the application of management research results, the issues regarding research methods in the securities market, and the design of interesting classroom teaching. Drawing on his own experiences, Academician Ma expounded on abstract topics in a captivating manner, making them highly engaging.

During the interactive discussion session, the participating teachers and students actively raised questions based on Ma's presentation content and their own difficulties encountered in practice. Ma patiently answered the questions and further elaborated on his personal insights and research experiences. Finally, Associate Professor Wang Juan summarized the sharing session briefly. The participants all expressed that they had gained a lot and benefited greatly from it.

Biography of the Reporter

Ma Qingguo, an academician of the International Eurasian Academy of Sciences and a Fellow of the Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Society, is a professor and doctoral supervisor. He is the founder of the Neuro Management Laboratory at Zhejiang University. Currently, he serves as the director of the Neuro-Economic Management Special Committee of the China Technology Economy Society. Previously, he held positions such as the deputy president of the China Management Science and Engineering Society, the leading figure of the National First-Class Key Discipline of Management Science at Zhejiang University (also serving as the leader of the Information Technology and Management direction), a member of the National Academic Degrees Committee, a member of the National Education Ministry's Management Engineering Guidance Committee, a member of the China Three Gorges Project Argumentation Expert Group, a judge of the National Education Ministry's Major Talent Project Management Science Group, the chairman of the China Value Engineering Association's preparatory committee, and a judge of the Management Science and Engineering Group of the National Personnel Department's Doctoral Postgraduate Research Station. In recent years, he has been engaged in cutting-edge research in emerging interdisciplinary fields such as neuro-management, neuro-industrial engineering/neuro-engineering management, and is one of the earliest scholars in the world to propose neuro-management. He has led several national and provincial-level key research projects and has received over 10 provincial and ministerial-level awards. He has published over 100 papers in international journals such as SSIC and SCI and more than 10 papers in domestic authoritative journals. He has been selected as a "Highly Cited Scholar in China" by Elsevier for five consecutive years (from 2020 to 2024).
