In accordance with the 3+1 inter-university exchange cooperation agreement signed between our university and the University of Bristol, applications for the University of Bristol 3+1 Bachelor-Master Combined Degree Program are now open. This recruitment targets current undergraduate students of the 2023 and 2024 cohorts.
I. University Introduction
Founded in 1876, the University of Bristol (Bristol) is located in Bristol, South West England, known as the “Silicon Valley of Europe”.
It is a world top‑100 university (54th globally in QS World University Rankings 2025), a world‑class research university, and one of the six famous “Red Brick Universities” in the UK.
The University of Bristol has been associated with 13 Nobel laureates and is ranked among the top five universities in the UK for research quality. Its Faculty of Engineering is widely known as the “Kingdom of Engineering”.
II. Program Overview
This program is hosted by the Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Bristol.
Students complete the first 3 years of undergraduate studies and earn required credits at our university.
In their senior year, they study a 1‑year master’s degree program at the Faculty of Science and Engineering, University of Bristol.
Upon completing the required courses, obtaining sufficient credits and meeting the degree requirements of both institutions, students will be awarded:

1. Online Research Enhancement Camp
(Compulsory for the 3+1 program)
Eligibility: Current sophomore & junior undergraduates in Science, Engineering, Financial Economics and related majors
Requirement: Pass the interview
The 3‑week online camp strengthens academic background, research ability and academic English writing, helping students better adapt to master’s study at Bristol.
2. Master’s Admission Requirements
(2023 cohort students must meet these by July 2026)
Complete all undergraduate courses and credits at our university.
(Students with missing credits must confirm credit transfer with academic advisors.)
Academic:
Weighted average score ≥ 82/100 (6 semesters) or GPA ≥ 3.3/4.0
English (most programs):
IELTS: 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band)
TOEFL iBT: 88 (Reading 20, Listening 19, Writing & Speaking 22)
LanguageCert: B2 High Pass
(A few programs have slightly higher requirements; please consult the Bristol program team.)
Successfully complete the University of Bristol Research Enhancement Camp.

Think Big Postgraduate Scholarship: £6,500 / £13,000 / £26,000
Global Transfer Bursary: £3,000
