By revisiting the years of the War of Resistance, teachers and students further strengthened their ideals and convictions and clarified their missions of the times. They all expressed that they would devote themselves to study and work with greater enthusiasm and higher morale, contributing their share to realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.

Hong Zhaofu, Assistant to the Dean and Director of the Department of Business Administration, said: "Watching the September 3rd Military Parade fills my heart with surging emotions and immense pride. General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech profoundly reveals the contemporary significance of remembering history, striving for self-reliance, and cherishing peace, demonstrating the mighty power of national prosperity and ethnic unity. The imposing presence of domestically produced active main combat equipment showcases the leapfrog development of China's national defense technology and the steady enhancement of its comprehensive national strength. As a graduate student and Party member from the School of Management at Northwestern Polytechnical University, I will learn the resilience and sense of responsibility embodied in the spirit of the War of Resistance, and apply what I have learned to solving practical problems. In the future, I will also closely follow the needs of national development, conduct in-depth research, and contribute my strength to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the cause of human development with a rigorous attitude and innovative thinking!"

Deng Zihan, a 2025 undergraduate student, said: "Watching the parade, I see that the blood of our predecessors forged peace; at NPU, the spirit of forging weapons nurtures great achievements. The September 3rd Military Parade is a solemn ceremony to cherish the memory of martyrs and pay tribute to history, a brilliant display of strength and responsibility, and a peaceful declaration that unites strength and points to the future. Eighty years ago today, countless predecessors shed their blood and laid down their lives for national independence and ethnic dignity. Eighty years later, on the campus of NPU, I watch as aircraft embodying the wisdom and hard work of NPU faculty and students soar across the blue sky. The mission of forging weapons for the country anonymously burns fiercely in the hearts of us new NPU students."

Wei Yuheng, a 2025 undergraduate student, remarked: "After watching the September 3rd Military Parade, my heart is filled with excitement and I can hardly calm down. The oath 'With a long spear in hand, we dare to bind the dragon' echoes in my ears. The debut of unmanned combat systems and aerospace equipment reminds me of NPU's close connection with national scientific and technological development, and I feel supreme glory from the bottom of my heart. I have seen the lifelong pursuit of countless scientific and technological workers, and also identified the direction of my future career. Remembering history is all the more for looking forward to the future. As young people of the new era, I will surely remember history, cherish the hard-won peaceful environment, and study harder. The road to building a strong country is our responsibility."

Liu Zhengyan, a 2024 undergraduate student, said: "Watching the military parade fills my heart with surging emotions. The neat steps of the reviewed troops beat like drumbeats on my heartstrings, instantly pulling my thoughts back to the war-torn years. At the founding ceremony of the People's Republic of China, the 'assorted foreign-made' equipment appeared immature; today, the foot formations are heroic, the equipment formations are composed of domestically produced elite weapons, and the declaration of 'global coverage' further demonstrates the confidence of a great power. From arduous beginnings to a prosperous and powerful army, history has witnessed our rise. We young people must remember history, temper our capabilities with the ambition of self-reliance, interpret the splendor of youth through diligent practice, and jointly build the dream of national rejuvenation! May our motherland prosper and thrive, and long live the Chinese nation!"
