On the morning of June 16, the 2025 Undergraduate Graduation Symposium of the School of Management was held in Conference Room 212 of the school. Che Ada, Dean of the School, Zhang Shuang, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chen Lin, Vice Dean, Wang Haixiao, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, directors of various departments, counselors of the graduating class, undergraduate teaching secretaries, and 11 undergraduate student representatives gathered together to witness growth and achievements at the symposium. The meeting was presided over by Wang Haixiao.
At the meeting, Zhang Shuang, Secretary of the Party Committee, read out the Decision on Appointing Alumni Liaisons for the 2025 Undergraduate Graduates of the School of Management. Dean Che Ada and Party Committee Secretary Zhang Shuang jointly issued appointment letters and graduation souvenirs to the four alumni liaisons.
Zhao Yizhuo and Liu Dongmo, undergraduate graduation representatives, reviewed their growth and gains in the School of Management over the past four years, and expressed their high respect and sincere gratitude to the school. They stated that as students of the School of Management at Northwestern Polytechnical University, whether pursuing further studies or entering the workplace, they will always remember the characteristics of NPU’s "chief engineer-oriented" talents — "modest and pragmatic, inclusive and open‑minded, well‑prepared and ambitious, forging weapons for the country". Upholding the mindset of "mastering management, understanding economics, and knowing engineering", they will strive for excellence in their respective fields and repay their alma mater with outstanding achievements.
Afterwards, all graduate representatives spoke freely, expressing their gratitude to the university and the school for four years of cultivation, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions for the school from the aspects of academic life, career planning, internship and practical planning. The teachers present had warm exchanges with the students and sent sincere blessings to the graduates.
Che Ada delivered a concluding speech. He congratulated the graduates on their growth and success, thanked them for their tolerance and understanding of the deficiencies in the school’s development over the past four years, and thanked the graduate representatives for their valuable suggestions on the development and construction of the school. Finally, he gave an ideological and political course entitled Cultivating the Soul with Public Integrity, Courage and Perseverance, Striving for Progress with Solid Work and Sincere Practice. He urged the students to keep in mind the school motto "Public Integrity, Courage, Perseverance" and the school spirit of "Three Practices and One Innovation" in their future study and work, to be down‑to‑earth, keep improving and pursue excellence in everything they do. He also wished the students a new chapter in their life, a bright future and great success!
Time flies and never stops. The 2025 undergraduate graduates are about to leave their alma mater and embark on a new chapter of life. May the boat of life of all graduates set sail in the harbor of new years, brave the wind and waves, live up to their youth, meet the difficulties and challenges of the future with a calm mind and firm confidence, and contribute more to the realization of the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation!
