The "Visit to Renowned Enterprises" practical series of the School of Management aims to help young students establish a comprehensive understanding of management practices in well‑known domestic enterprises, broaden their overall vision, integrate knowledge with practice, clarify career development directions, and support the cultivation of top‑notch innovative "chief engineer‑oriented" talents in the management field.
On May 15, more than 40 teachers and students from the School of Management and the School of Electronic Information went to Xi’an Branch of Guangzhou CVTE Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as CVTE) to carry out the "Visit to Renowned Enterprises" practical activity. Zhang Jiao, Vice President of the company, Qiao Yanlong, Director of Production and Research, Han Xue, Marketing Director, and outstanding alumni representatives from Northwestern Polytechnical University attended the event.

CVTE is a high‑tech enterprise focusing on display and control products such as LCD main control boards and interactive smart panels. It ranks among the top in market share for LCD main control boards, educational interactive smart panels, conference panels, and other products.

In the company exhibition hall, teachers and students visited CVTE’s main products, core businesses, and achievements in various business sectors. SEEWO for digital education applications, MAXHUB that drives in‑depth industry digitalization through conference scenarios, and the "three institutes and one station" R&D system left a deep impression on the teachers and students regarding the company’s modern products and management model.

During the discussion session, Bai Jie, Employment Supervisor of the School of Management, introduced the school’s general situation, disciplinary characteristics, and the significance and objectives of the "Visit to Renowned Enterprises" series. Han Xue, Marketing Director of CVTE, and Zhang Yuhui from HR respectively presented the company’s development history, business features, corporate culture, and employee growth and development paths.

In the interactive session, students actively raised in-depth questions concerning CVTE’s development philosophy, how university students can grow into talents needed by enterprises, the different development paths of management and technical talents, and job‑search preparation. Student Party members from the 10th and 6th Postgraduate Party Branches of the School of Management put forward cooperation proposals on joint Party‑building activities. International student representatives focused on questions about personal development after joining the company. The two sides had thorough communication in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

This practical exchange with CVTE not only enabled teachers and students of the School of Management to gain an in-depth understanding of the rapid development of modern high‑tech enterprises, as well as their management concepts and technological innovation under the new situation, but also built a bridge for university‑enterprise cooperation and provided practical guidance and inspiration for students’ future career development.
In the future, the School of Management will continue to carry out the "Visit to Renowned Enterprises" series, leading more students into outstanding enterprises to broaden their horizons, enhance practical abilities, and grow into "chief engineer‑oriented" talents in management that meet the needs of the times.
