At the ceremony, Dean Che Ada delivered a welcome speech. He extended sincere gratitude and warm welcome to the guests, leaders, and faculty members in attendance, and briefed them on the basic overview of the School of Management, Northwestern Polytechnical University, as well as the academic experiences and achievements of the three committee members. He stated that the school attaches great importance to international accreditation work, is willing to maintain active cooperation and exchanges with experts from various industries, and strives to promote international development and the cultivation of innovative talents. The three committee members remarked that being appointed as members of the International Accreditation Strategic Advisory Committee is not only an affirmation of their own capabilities but also a responsibility. They pledged to actively participate in AACSB-related work and fulfill the goals and tasks of the committee with high standards.

Following the appointment ceremony, the three committee members shared insights on AACSB international accreditation from different perspectives. Dr. Lee Tien-hsing introduced the AACSB international accreditation standards and key points of on-site visits. From the dual perspectives of an official AACSB mentor and a member of the Initial Accreditation Committee (IAC), he provided a detailed interpretation of the focus areas and difficulties of the nine standards, outlined the requirements and procedures for on-site visits, and conducted specific case analyses based on practices of multiple universities. He emphasized the official requirements in four key areas: faculty, Assurance of Learning (AoL) curriculum, scientific research, and social impact.

Professor Shen Wei focused on the experience and insights of international education and elaborated on the value of international accreditation for business schools. He suggested that the school should continuously pay attention to the national conditions of different countries during the accreditation process, expand communication channels, and recruit more high-level strategic partners. He also recommended increasing joint education programs with overseas universities to provide more opportunities for students and faculty to study abroad and participate in university-industry collaboration projects.

From the perspective of a financial professional, Mr. He Yong introduced the competency and quality requirements for financial practitioners under the new situation. He emphasized that talents needed by contemporary financial enterprises should not only possess a broad vision, innovative thinking, and interdisciplinary educational backgrounds but also cultivate a commitment to serving the public through finance and develop a habit of lifelong learning.

In the afternoon, Professor Lee Tien-hsing held an in-depth exchange with curriculum team leaders and core faculty members of the school in Classroom 402 of the School of Management. He provided a detailed explanation of the standard procedures of the AoL curriculum training system, the application of direct and indirect assessment methods, and key points for effectively obtaining AoL assessment results. He stressed that the core spirit of AACSB is continuous improvement, and AoL is designed to continuously refine and optimize the school's curriculum. Attending faculty members raised questions about practical challenges encountered in AoL-related work, and Professor Lee Tien-hsing provided comprehensive answers.
This event has effectively advanced the AACSB international accreditation work of the school. The School of Management will steadily promote the construction of the AoL quality assurance system and the preparation for the on-site visit, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of AACSB international accreditation.
