On the afternoon of September 7, Shaanxi Business School organized a working meeting on the IACBE accreditation of the School of Management.
Attendees included Zhao Xiping, Vice President of Shaanxi Business School; Sun Wei, Leader of the IACBE Accreditation Expert Group; Zhou Mi, Deputy Leader of the Expert Group; Zhang Gengmiao, Member of the Expert Group; Guo Peng, Expert from the Department of Management Science and Engineering; Yang Hongling, Director of the MBA/MEM Education Center; Sun Ruoni and Xiao Ping, Deputy Directors of the MBA/MEM Education Center; and Shao Jing, Director of the International Accreditation Office. The meeting was chaired by Guo Yuntao, Vice Dean of the School of Management.
Guo Yuntao delivered a welcome speech to the leaders and experts from Shaanxi Business School. Shao Jing briefed the attendees on the overall work of the School of Management in recent period, focusing on the MBA enrollment status, rectification progress, training work, MBA curriculum development, student activities, and the progress of the IACBE accreditation work.
Sun Wei inspected the documents required for the accreditation and the archive room, conducted a comprehensive evaluation of the school’s learning outcomes and operational achievements, and focused on explaining the common problems identified during the teaching site inspections as well as the directions for correction. Zhao Xiping further interpreted the IACBE accreditation standards, fully affirmed the efforts and achievements made by the school in the preliminary document preparation stage, and put forward specific guiding suggestions on the writing requirements of the self-assessment report and sub-reports, as well as the arrangements for the on-site visit. She stated that it is hoped that the school will further optimize the content of the reports on the existing basis and strive to improve the self-assessment report and sub-reports at an early date. The attending experts also exchanged views on the problems encountered in the accreditation process, effectively promoting the progress of various accreditation-related work.
Moving forward, the school will further improve the self-assessment report and sub-reports in accordance with the guiding opinions put forward at the meeting, continue to collect, sort out, and conduct statistical analysis of relevant materials, actively participate in the upcoming IACBE international accreditation online on-site visit, and fully promote the accreditation work of the teaching site of Northwestern Polytechnical University. Taking this opportunity, the school will continuously enhance the educational quality of the MBA program of the School of Management and support the high-quality development of teaching.
