Recently, the 16th ACCA National Education Forum hosted by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) was held in Guangzhou, with the 2025 ACCA Authorised Partner Awards Ceremony held concurrently. The ACCA Programme at the School of Management, Northwestern Polytechnical University, was awarded the 2025 ACCA Teaching Achievement Award.
Centered on the core theme of Digital Empowerment and Sustainable Development: Reshaping the Ecosystem of Accounting and Finance Education and Talent Cultivation, this forum is highly aligned with the global trend of digital economic transformation and sustainable development, and also responds to the urgent demand for high-end accounting and finance talents in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Attending guests conducted in-depth discussions on key topics including the innovation of ACCA professional qualifications and talent cultivation, the impacts of AI and sustainable development, new trends in employers' talent demands, insights into university graduates' employability and internationalization trends, and shared advanced practical experience in accounting and finance talent cultivation.
Launched for the 2019 cohort, the Accounting (ACCA Track) programme at the School of Management, Northwestern Polytechnical University, has nurtured a large number of outstanding students who have won numerous honours and awards. This award is not only an affirmation of the school’s past teaching achievements, but also a driving force for its continuous development. Going forward, the School of Management will continue to conduct in-depth exploration in talent cultivation, educational innovation and other aspects, and optimize the training model. It will strive to cultivate high-quality, top-notch and innovative accounting talents with an international vision, innovative spirit and social responsibility, a systematic grasp of relevant theories and skills, as well as team spirit and cross-cultural communication capabilities.
