On the morning of October 11th, at the invitation of the School of Management, Professor Zhu Jigao from the University of International Business and Economics held an academic exchange with the faculty and students of the School at the 214 Lecture Hall in the College Building on the Chang'an Campus. He delivered an academic lecture titled "The Spillover Effect of Innovation Cost Sharing: A Study on the Impact of the Additional Deduction Policy for R&D Expenses on Labor Income Share". The lecture was hosted by Associate Professor Tian Haowen from the School of Management, and was jointly attended by the faculty and students of the School.

Based on the data of R&D additional deduction tax credits from listed companies on the Shanghai and Shenzhen A-share markets from 2014 to 2023, Professor Zhu Jigao conducted an in-depth analysis of the spillover effects generated by the sharing of innovation costs at the micro-enterprise level, with a focus on exploring how the R&D additional deduction policy affects the labor income share of enterprises. His research found that the R&D additional deduction policy significantly promotes the increase of labor income share by sharing the innovation costs of enterprises, and this effect is more prominent in non-state-owned enterprises and enterprises with higher technology intensity. He pointed out that this finding provides important theoretical references and practical insights for optimizing the income distribution policy system and promoting the construction of enterprise talent teams in the context of a new round of technological revolution and the development of new productive forces.
At the end of the lecture, Professor Zhu Jigao engaged in in-depth discussions with the present teachers and students on research design, policy effects, and future research directions, creating a lively atmosphere.
