On September 26th, Professor Li Yuan from the Antai College, Economics and Management at Shanghai Jiao Tong University was invited to give an academic report titled "The Synergy of Intelligence and Security: Enterprise AI Strategy Selection" at the 214 Lecture Hall of the School of Management. The report will be chaired by Professor Tian Qingfeng from the School of Management, and some teachers and students from the school will participate together.

In the report, Professor Li Yuan first systematically expounded the profound changes brought by the application of AI technology to enterprise strategic management from both internal and external dimensions, and introduced the current situation of AI application in enterprises through practical cases. Then, he pointed out the two core issues of "intelligence" and "security" faced by AI strategy in the process of promotion. Subsequently, Professor Li focused on exploring the collaboration between intelligence and security in AI applications and proposed the "Intelligent Security Dynamic Collaboration Model". This model provides a theoretical framework and practical path for enterprises to achieve AI strategic collaboration. Finally, Professor Li Yuan further proposed four strategic combination models on how to promote enterprise AI strategic synergy: overall breakthrough strategy, security enhancement strategy, intelligent reinforcement strategy, and sustained balance strategy. He also elaborated on the path of capacity building and AI strategic evolution under different combination states.

During the interactive communication session, the attending teachers and students engaged in lively discussions with Professor Li Yuan on topics such as the application of AI in scientific research, data governance, enterprise AI strategy selection and practice, and future research directions. This report brings new perspectives and inspirations to the faculty and students of the School of Management in the field of AI strategic collaboration.

Introduction of Lecturer

Professor at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Deputy Director of the Management Science and Engineering Education Guidance Committee of the Ministry of Education, Vice Chairman of the China Association for Science and Technology Policy Research, Director of the Technology and Innovation Management Professional Committee of the China Association for Modernization of Management, and Editor in Chief of the Journal of Management Analytics. In 1999, it received funding from the Outstanding Youth Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. In 2005, it was selected as a major talent project by the Ministry of Education. In 2016, it was awarded the "Fudan Management Outstanding Contribution Award". Published over 100 papers in internationally renowned academic journals such as AMJ, JIBS, JOM, etc; Published over 200 papers in domestic journals such as Economic Research and Management Science. Has won more than 10 scientific and technological awards, including the first prize of Humanities and Philosophy Achievement Award from the Ministry of Education, the first prize of Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Progress Award, and the first prize of Philosophy and Social Achievement Award. Hosted and completed over ten national level scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Innovation Group Fund.
