The School of Management Held A Homeroom Teacher Meeting for the Autumn Semester of 2025

In order to further strengthen the construction of the homeroon teacher team, consolidate the joint force of education, and improve the effectiveness of education, on the afternoon of October 11th, the School of Management held a class teacher work exchange meeting for the autumn semester of 2025 at the Chang'an campus. Zhang Shuang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the college, Wang Tsunami, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, and Class Counselors for 2024 and 2025 jointly attended the meeting, which was chaired by Wang Tsunami.

At the meeting, all attendees jointly studied the "Management Measures for Homeroon Teachers in the School of Management, Northwestern Polytechnical University". Wang Haichao analyzed the key and difficult points of current student work based on the new situation and requirements faced by student work, as well as the academic atmosphere, enrollment and employment situation of the past two cohorts of students, and put forward work suggestions and expectations for the homeroom teacher.

Zhang Yu, a counselor for undergraduate students in 2024, and Guan Linfei, a counselor for undergraduate students in 2025, respectively reported and exchanged information on the basic situation of students in their respective grades, the current focus of their work, and their thoughts and plans for future work. Class teacher Xie Yan of the 2024 class shared the achievements in class construction over the past year and exchanged his work experience and insights over the past year. Homeroom teacher Xiao Ping of the class of 2025 discussed his work ideas and preliminary plans based on his past experience and feelings as a class teacher for three terms。

During the interactive communication session, the attending teachers engaged in lively discussions and in-depth exchanges around issues of common concern, creating a lively atmosphere on site.

Finally, in his concluding speech, Zhang Shuang thanked all class teachers for their contributions to the talent cultivation work of the college. She pointed out that the homeroom teacher is an important force in the student work of the college, and should actively participate in all aspects of student training and effectively assume the responsibilities of a homeroom teacher. She also put forward requirements based on her work experience on "how to do a good job as a class teacher": to invest time and energy, and more importantly, to invest emotions, establish good trust relationships and emotional connections with students; We need to strengthen communication and exchange in our work, learn from each other, complement each other's strengths and weaknesses, and enhance our work abilities and effectiveness; We need to strengthen collaboration and linkage with counselors, consolidate the joint efforts of educating students, and jointly promote their growth and success; We should make the construction of class and academic atmosphere the primary task of cultivating lower grade undergraduate students, and consolidate the foundation of education.

This meeting helped the newly appointed homeroom teacher clarify their job responsibilities and requirements, and laid a solid foundation for the development of work in the new academic year. In the future, the college will further strengthen the training guidance and resource guarantee for class teachers, enhance the professional competence and management ability of the class teacher team, and jointly promote the growth of students and the development of the college.
